Coronavirus: Nearly 400 cases reported on April 28

On April 28, 398 people tested positive for coronavirus in Uzbekistan, bringing the total number of cases to 90,406.

According to the Ministry of Health, 207 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 5 – in Karakalpakstan, 5 – in Andijan, 4 – in Bukhara, 7 – in Jizzakh, 5 – in Kashkadarya, 1 – in Navoi, 5 – in Namangan, 72 – in Samarkand, 5 – in Syrdarya, 2 – in Surkhandarya, 4 – in Fergana, 3 – in Khorezm and 73 – in Tashkent region.

Also, one patient died on April 28. The official death toll has reached 647. The number of recovered stands at 86,774 (96%).

Currently, 2,985 people are being treated in hospitals.
