List of companies dominating the country’s market updated

For five months, the list was reduced only by one company.

The Antimonopoly Committee has updated the list of companies dominating the market (companies with a share of more than 35%), Spot writes.

Since the previous update, which was announced at the end of 2020, the list was reduced only by one company, but it now includes two more organizations engaged in goods and services.

Thus, as of May 1, 93 companies in Uzbekistan occupy a dominant position in the market for 107 types of goods and services.

Almost all of them are companies with a government share. There are few private companies on the list – Beeline, Uzcard, Khorezm Sugar Factory and others.
