Shavkat Mirziyoyev departs for Surkhandarya

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has left for Surkhandarya region to get acquainted with the regional economy and living conditions of the population. 

According to the press service of the President, during the two-day working visit it is planned to get acquainted with agro-industrial, trade and agricultural projects, to review the creative work.

Pomegranate and silkworm breeding are becoming the "driver" of the regional economy. The visit program will focus on the development of these sectors.
