President criticizes price manipulations in markets
During today’s video conference, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev criticized artificial reducing prices in the country’s markets.
According to the correspondent of Kun.uz, the head of state also spoke about pressure on entrepreneurs.
“Ensuring price stability does not mean that we should put pressure on entrepreneurs and forcibly lower prices in markets. First of all, we have to create conditions for entrepreneurs and increase supply in the markets,” he said.
Mirziyoyev also noted that the importance of developing cattle breeding, which gives a quick result in a short time.
“By the end of the year, we must produce up to 450 thousand tons of poultry meat. It is the fastest way to get results: in order for a bird to gain a kilogram of weight, it needs only 1.7 kg of feed, while livestock - 8 kg,” he concluded.
