Coronavirus: Number of daily cases nears 400, one more patient dies

The Health Ministry reported coronavirus cases had been detected in all parts of the country in the past day and one patient had died.

“On June 18, 2021, the number of registered coronavirus infection cases in Uzbekistan is 105,610 (+391),” the ministerial report reads.

Reportedly, 132 new cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 13 – in Karakalpakstan, 8 – in Andijan, 12 – in Bukhara, 27 – in Jizzakh, 5 – in Kashkadarya, 3 – in Navoi, 7 – in Namangan, 60 – in Samarkand, 3 – in Syrdarya, 66 – in Surkhandarya, 5 – in Fergana, 5 – in Khorezm and 45 – in Tashkent region.

The number of recovered stands at 101,311 (+293), and the recovery rate – at 96%.

Also, 1 coronavirus patient died, bringing the official death toll to 718.

Currently, 3,581 patients are being treated in hospitals.
