Legislative Chamber revises work plan for Q2 2021

On June 30, a regular meeting of the Council of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan took place. A number of important issues related to the activities of the lower house of parliament were discussed.

Thus, the draft work plan of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis for the second half of 2021 was considered.

According to the press service of the lower chamber, the main directions of the Legislative Chamber’s activities for the second half of 2021 were “critically reviewed and finalized on the basis of successive reforms carried out in all areas”.

Also, during its development, special attention was paid to the results of the implementation of the work plan for the current year, the most relevant areas in the construction of the state and society, the problems raised by the electorate, in-depth analysis of legislation in the relevant area.

At the meeting, the activities identified in the work plan were discussed and a corresponding decision was made by the Council of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis.
