New quarantine restriction comes into force

The government introduces a new quarantine restriction from August 1.

In early July, a special republican commission for combatting coronavirus published a new decision.

According to the document, wedding ceremonies and various celebrations will only be allowed to be held among close relatives.

The decision of the special republican commission to combat COVID-19 was amended in mid-July. The document says that from August 1 the number of guests at wedding ceremonies and various celebrations should not exceed 50 people.

If it is not possible to hold a wedding or other celebration outside of a restaurant or specialized banquet halls, then the wedding can be held inside the building.

However, the maximum number of participants should not exceed 50 people and all attendees must comply with the quarantine rules. Also, only close relatives and other persons who live in the nearby area should be invited to the event.

In addition, catering facilities (restaurants, cafes, dining rooms, and chaykhanas) have been operating exclusively in the open air from 08:00 to 20:00 since July 20.

It was also announced that catering facilities are allowed to deliver food from 08:00 to 23:00.
