Coronavirus cases slow down for first time in weeks
On August 7, 897 people were diagnosed with coronavirus, 475 with pneumonia in Uzbekistan.
According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 136,635 (+897).
Reportedly, 117 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 97 – in Karakalpakstan, 42 – in Andijan, 22 – in Bukhara, 85 – in Jizzakh, 38 – in Kashkadarya, 20 – in Navoi, 41 – in Namangan, 96 – in Samarkand, 24 – in Syrdarya, 98 – in Surkhandarya, 82 – in Fergana, 38 – in Khorezm and 97 – in Tashkent region.
5 COVID-19 patients died yesterday, the official death toll – 928.
As of August 7, the number of recovered stands at 130,111 (+929).
Also, 475 people tested positive for pneumonia on Saturday, bringing the total number of cases to 14,503. According to the Ministry of Health, 489 of them recovered yesterday (7,097 in total).
3 pneumonia patients died on August 7, and to date, the number of deaths from pneumonia is 96.
