Coronavirus and pneumonia: Infection cases again start increasing

On August 10, 903 people were diagnosed with coronavirus, 472 with pneumonia in Uzbekistan.

According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 139,285 (+903).

Reportedly, 161 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 93 – in Karakalpakstan, 39 – in Andijan, 19 – in Bukhara, 75 – in Jizzakh, 29 – in Kashkadarya, 18 – in Navoi, 35 – in Namangan, 95 – in Samarkand, 24 – in Syrdarya, 94 – in Surkhandarya, 85 – in Fergana, 39 – in Khorezm and 97 – in Tashkent region.

7 COVID-19 patients died yesterday, the official death toll – 948.

As of August 10, the number of recovered stands at 132,613 (+832).

Also, 472 people tested positive for pneumonia on Tuesday, bringing the total number of cases to 15,871. According to the Ministry of Health, 520 of them recovered yesterday (8,641 in total).

3 pneumonia patients died on August 10, and to date, the number of deaths from pneumonia is 106.
