Coronavirus and pneumonia: Over 1,400 new infection cases reported
On August 11, 925 people were diagnosed with coronavirus, 493 with pneumonia in Uzbekistan.
According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 140,210 (+925).
Reportedly, 211 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 86 – in Karakalpakstan, 41 – in Andijan, 26 – in Bukhara, 73 – in Jizzakh, 28 – in Kashkadarya, 19 – in Navoi, 45 – in Namangan, 83 – in Samarkand, 21 – in Syrdarya, 89 – in Surkhandarya, 79 – in Fergana, 33 – in Khorezm and 91 – in Tashkent region.
8 COVID-19 patients died yesterday, the official death toll – 956.
As of August 11, the number of recovered stands at 133,362 (+749).
Also, 493 people tested positive for pneumonia on Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases to 16,364. According to the Ministry of Health, 437 of them recovered yesterday (9,078 in total).
4 pneumonia patients died on August 11, and to date, the number of deaths from pneumonia is 110.
