Number of children hospitalized in Akkurgan reached 30

The Ministry of Preschool Education reported that as on August 13 this year, a total of 30 children from the kindergarten No. 5, located in the Akkurgan district of Tashkent region, were hospitalized with symptoms of intoxication syndrome.

On August 12, a total of 25 children were receiving medical treatment. On 13 August, another 5 were admitted to medical facilities because clinical signs of the disease were observed.

According to the report of 16:00, August 13 of this year:

• 9 children have been discharged in a satisfactory condition after medical examination by a narrow circle of specialists. They are taken under medical supervision at their place of residence;
• a total of 21 children are being treated in medical institutions: the condition of 1 child is very critical, 1 is heavily infected, 6 – in a severe condition and 13 – moderate.
