Tashkent’s airport for local airlines temporarily closed
All domestic flights from August 19 will be transferred to the international airport.
The airport for local airlines is temporarily closed in Tashkent, Spot reports with reference to the press service of Uzbekistan Airways.
“From August 19, 2021, Tashkent Airport 3 will be closed indefinitely for technical reasons,” the message reads.
All domestic flights, according to the schedule, are transferred to the Tashkent International Airport named after Islam Karimov.
Previously, Spot reported that Uzbekistan Airways announced discounts of up to 50% in honor of Independence Day. They are available on all domestic flights and are valid from September 1 to 5.
