Coronavirus: Official death toll reaches 1,050
On August 25, 846 people were diagnosed with coronavirus, 353 with pneumonia in Uzbekistan.
According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 152,363 (+846).
Reportedly, 248 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 80 – in Karakalpakstan, 41 – in Andijan, 15 – in Bukhara, 29 – in Jizzakh, 15 – in Kashkadarya, 14 – in Navoi, 34 – in Namangan, 81 – in Samarkand, 25 – in Syrdarya, 29 – in Surkhandarya, 86 – in Fergana, 27 – in Khorezm and 122 – in Tashkent region.
7 COVID-19 patients died yesterday, the official death toll – 1,050.
As of August 25, the number of recovered stands at 144,988 (+684).
Also, 353 people tested positive for pneumonia on Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases to 22,144. According to the Ministry of Health, 332 of them recovered yesterday (14,660 in total).
4 pneumonia patients died on August 25, and to date, the number of deaths from pneumonia is 156.
