Coronavirus and pneumonia: Infection cases continue to drop
On August 30, 795 people were diagnosed with coronavirus, 201 with pneumonia in Uzbekistan.
According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 156,394 (+755).
Reportedly, 254 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 83 – in Karakalpakstan, 31 – in Andijan, 15 – in Bukhara, 22 – in Jizzakh, 12 – in Kashkadarya, 13 – in Navoi, 25 – in Namangan, 65 – in Samarkand, 16 – in Syrdarya, 23 – in Surkhandarya, 79 – in Fergana, 22 – in Khorezm and 95 – in Tashkent region.
7 COVID-19 patients died yesterday, the official death toll – 1,082.
As of August 30, the number of recovered stands at 148,590 (+687).
Also, 201 people tested positive for pneumonia on Monday, bringing the total number of cases to 23,665. According to the Ministry of Health, 282 of them recovered yesterday (16,270 in total).
3 pneumonia patients died on August 30, and to date, the number of deaths from pneumonia is 171.
