Coronavirus: Daily cases drop below 600

According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 161,108 (+597).

Reportedly, 210 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 33 – in Karakalpakstan, 18 – in Andijan, 15 – in Bukhara, 18 – in Jizzakh, 11 – in Kashkadarya, 9 – in Navoi, 15 – in Namangan, 61 – in Samarkand, 20 – in Syrdarya, 9 – in Surkhandarya, 55 – in Fergana, 29 – in Khorezm and 94 – in Tashkent region.

5 COVID-19 patients died yesterday, the official death toll – 1,125.

As of September 6, the number of recovered stands at 152,938 (+654).

Also, 81 people tested positive for pneumonia on Tuesday, bringing the total number of cases to 24,683. According to the Ministry of Health, 268 of them recovered yesterday (18,019 in total).

2 pneumonia patients died on September 6, and to date, the number of deaths from pneumonia is 192.
