Uzbekistan increases export of textile products

According to the State Statistics Committee, in January-July 2021, Uzbekistan exported $1.6 billion worth of textile products to 58 foreign countries, which is $602 million more compared to the same period last year.

In 7 months of 2021, major importers of Uzbekistan’s textile products were:

• Russia – $514.8 million
• China – $402.3 million
• Kyrgyzstan – $211.8 million
• Turkey – $202.4 million
• Pakistan – $36.4 million
• Poland – $35.1 million
• Iran – $28.3 million
• Ukraine – $26.3 million
• Kazakhstan – $25.8 million
• Egypt – $16.9 million
• Italy – $16.2 million
• Belarus – $11.8 million
• Azerbaijan – $10 million
