Coronavirus and pneumonia: Infection cases start to decline
On September 19, 501 people were diagnosed with coronavirus, 95 with pneumonia in Uzbekistan.
According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 167,858 (+501).
Reportedly, 220 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 16 – in Karakalpakstan, 7 – in Andijan, 4 – in Bukhara, 12 – in Jizzakh, 18 – in Kashkadarya, 4 – in Navoi, 10 – in Namangan, 39 – in Samarkand, 15 – in Syrdarya, 22 – in Surkhandarya, 39 – in Fergana, 10 – in Khorezm and 85 – in Tashkent region.
4 COVID-19 patients died yesterday, the official death toll – 1,192.
As of September 19, the number of recovered stands at 162,684 (+629).
Also, 95 people tested positive for pneumonia on Sunday, bringing the total number of cases to 26,272. According to the Ministry of Health, 443 of them recovered yesterday (22,757 in total).
1 pneumonia patients died on September 19, and to date, the number of deaths from pneumonia is 215.
