Coronavirus cases surpass 170 thousand in Uzbekistan
On September 22, 531 people were diagnosed with coronavirus, 118 with pneumonia in Uzbekistan.
According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 170,520 (+531).
Reportedly, 241 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 16 – in Karakalpakstan, 5 – in Andijan, 4 – in Bukhara, 6 – in Jizzakh, 3 – in Kashkadarya, 4 – in Navoi, 7 – in Namangan, 51 – in Samarkand, 20 – in Syrdarya, 14 – in Surkhandarya, 21 – in Fergana, 5 – in Khorezm and 134 – in Tashkent region.
4 COVID-19 patients died yesterday, the official death toll – 1,207.
As of September 22, the number of recovered stands at 164,614 (+629).
Also, 118 people tested positive for pneumonia on Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases to 26,577. According to the Ministry of Health, 422 of them recovered yesterday (23,975 in total).
1 pneumonia patients died on September 22, and to date, the number of deaths from pneumonia is 220.
