COVID-19: 451 new infection cases reported on Oct 8

On October 8, 451 people were diagnosed with coronavirus, 21 with pneumonia in Uzbekistan.
According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 177,834 (+451).
Reportedly, 194 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 15 – in Karakalpakstan, 14 – in Andijan, 9 – in Bukhara, 9 – in Jizzakh, 7 – in Kashkadarya, 3 – in Navoi, 9 – in Namangan, 37 – in Samarkand, 13 – in Syrdarya, 9 – in Surkhandarya, 29 – in Fergana, 11 – in Khorezm and 92 – in Tashkent region.
3 COVID-19 patients died yesterday, the official death toll – 1,266.
As of October 8, the number of recovered stands at 173,166 (+510).
Also, 21 people tested positive for pneumonia on Friday, bringing the total number of cases to 27,437. According to the Ministry of Health, 43 of them recovered yesterday (25,834 in total).
