Rankings of khokims and their deputies announced

The results of the rating reflecting the effectiveness of all khokims in Uzbekistan have been published on the Argos.uz portal. In the overall ranking of regions, Navoi region has the highest rate.

The Civil Service Development Agency under the President has established a system for evaluating the performance of khokims and their deputies in all regions, districts and cities on the basis of the key performance indicators (KPI).

The following 6 types of ratings are posted on the “Rating” page of the Agency’s argos.uz portal as of June 2021 (for the 2nd quarter):

1. Highly productive regions;
2. Districts (cities) with the highest rates in the regions;
3. The lowest districts (cities) in the regions;
4. KPI rating of deputy khokims;
5. TOP-20 district (city) khokims;
6. BOTTOM-20 district (city) khokims.

According to the rating results, Navoi region (87 points) leads in the ranking of the highest performing regions. The lowest rate among the regions was recorded in Surkhandarya (66 points).

Karavulbozor district (Bukhara) took the first place among 205 districts of the republic with 98.2 points in the ranking of the highest districts (cities).

Sariosiyo district (Surkhandarya) took the 1st place (60.8 points) in the ranking of the low-performing districts (cities).

In the TOP-20 ranking of khokims, the leadership of Karavulbozor district (Bukhara), Yangibazar district (Khorezm), Shirin city (Syrdarya), Gazgan city (Navoi) and Mirabad district (Tashkent city) can be seen. In the BOTTOM-20 rankings, eight of the initial ten places were occupied by the district khokims of Surkhandarya region.

Gazgan city of Navoi region took the first place in the rating of deputy khokims on KPI.

Karavulbozor (Bukhara) and Sariosiya (Surkhandarya) districts took the 1st place in the TOP-20 and BOTTOM-20 rankings of district (city) khokims, respectively.

The agency said that on a 100-point scale, 50% of the final assessment would be based on KPI, 30% would be the results of a survey conducted among the population, and 20% – among mahalla chairmen.

It should be recalled that the introduction of a procedure for evaluating the activities of deputy khokims on the basis of KPI was set out in the presidential decree of August.
