65% of students vaccinated in Uzbekistan

According to a request from Kun.uz, the Sanitary-Epidemiological Surveillance and Public Health Service provided information on how many students have been vaccinated against coronavirus so far. In this article, you will get information about how many students have been vaccinated in which region.
Data presented to Kun.uz state that 371,028 students have been vaccinated so far.
In terms of regions, the city of Tashkent is leading – 189,696 students were vaccinated. This can be explained by the fact that most universities are located in the capital.
The next places are occupied by the Republic of Karakalpakstan (55,863 people), Fergana region (288,840 people).
The number of vaccinated students in 4 regions exceeded 10,000, including Namangan (17,263 people), Kashkadarya (14,955 people), Tashkent (11,638 people) and Khorezm (11,216 people).
The lowest rate is in the Andijan region – only 115 students have been vaccinated.
At the beginning of the 2020/2021 academic year, the number of students studying in the country’s higher education institutions is 571.5 thousand people. About 65% of students received the vaccine.
It should be recalled that the deadline for students to receive a 10% discount on the tuition fee amount is November 15.
