Deadline for replacing an old driver’s license with a new one extended

According to the Ministry of Justice, the old driver’s licenses will be replaced by new ones within the following periods:

• Issued before 2010 – until March 31, 2022;
• Issued in 2010-2020 – until June 30, 2022;
• Issued in 2013-2015 – until September 2022;
• Issued after 2015 – until December 31, 2022.

Earlier, replacing a driver’s license was mandatory until December 31, 2021.

A driver’s license that has not been replaced before the above deadlines is considered invalid.
