Filling station in Samarkand steals nearly 5.5 billion soums worth of natural gas
Filling station Oqtosh Diyorbek Nur LLC, located in the territory of Narpai district, Samarkand region stole natural gas.
According to the Ministry of Energy, during a study conducted to monitor the work of the filling station, it was established that the LLC illegally connected the Oromgoh small industrial zone, located near it, to the gas pipeline and stole 5 million 424.0 thousand cubic meters of natural gas.
“It is equal to the daily consumption of 300,000 households,” the report says.
The ministry noted that the damage incurred amounts to 5 billion 424.0 million soums.
Collected documents on the illegal use of natural gas have been sent to law enforcement agencies for legal consideration.
