Statistics Committee provides data on quadruplet birth rate in Uzbekistan

Over the last 9 years, a total of 18 quadruplet births were registered in Uzbekistan, the State Statistics Committee reported.

The highest quadruplet birth rate was registered in 2016 and 2019 – 3 cases.

In general, during the period from 2012 to 2020, 1 or 2 quadruplet births occurred in Uzbekistan annually on average.

Earlier it was reported that the triplet birth rate in Uzbekistan increased by more than four times in 10 years. In 2020, 430 triplet births were registered in the republic.
