According to the press service of the regulator, at the meeting, it was decided to keep the base rate unchanged at 14% per annum.
It should be recalled that the Central Bank has been keeping the base rate at 14% since September 10, 2020. In April of that year, the base rate was reduced from 16% to 15%.
Base rate is the minimum rate set by the Central Bank below which banks are not allowed to lend to their customers.
