Central Bank keeps interest rate unchanged
The Central Bank of Uzbekistan is currently holding the next meeting of the board in Tashkent.

According to the press service of the regulator, at the meeting, it was decided to keep the base rate unchanged at 14% per annum.
It should be recalled that the Central Bank has been keeping the base rate at 14% since September 10, 2020. In April of that year, the base rate was reduced from 16% to 15%.
Base rate is the minimum rate set by the Central Bank below which banks are not allowed to lend to their customers.
