Uzbekistan increases mobile phone imports
In January-November 2021, Uzbekistan imported 2.6 million mobile phones from 15 countries for $173.8 million.
Mobile phone imports increased by about 1.5 million units compared to the same period last year, the State Statistics Committee said in a report.
During the reporting period, the following countries were the major exporters of mobile phones to Uzbekistan:
- China - $88 million
- Vietnam - $68 million
- India - $10 million
- Kazakhstan - $5.3 million
- UAE - $1.6 million.
- Germany - $647 thousand
- Russia - $175.8 thousand
