Drinking water supply to be restored in Tashkent in the next few hours – Ministry
According to the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services, the pumping units of the Qodiriya main water supply system, which provides drinking water to the majority of the capital’s population, have been shut down due to power outages across the country.
As a result, there were interruptions in the supply of drinking water in a number of areas in Tashkent.
At present, the power supply of the water facility has been restored, and urgent measures are being taken to restore the hydraulic regime of drinking water.
“In the next few hours, the city of Tashkent will return to normal water supply,” the ministry said.
