Kudratkhuja replaces Abdukholikov as Board Chairman of the National Association of Electronic Mass Media of Uzbekistan

At a general meeting of members of the National Association of Electronic Mass Media of Uzbekistan, the chairman of the association Firdavs Abdukholikov was voluntarily relieved of his post.

Abdukholikov has been the chairman of the association since 2003 (the year of its establishment). Currently, from September 2019, he is also the Director-General of the Cinematography Agency ("Uzbekkino").

According to UzReport, Sherzodkhon Kudratkhuja has been appointed to replace him at the association. In this regard, he resigned from the chairmanship of the International Press Club.

Sherzodkhon Kudratkhuja has been the rector of the University of Journalism and Mass Communications since May 2018. He will continue his work as the rector of the university.
