The Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade Laziz Kudratov took part in the Investopia Bridge 2026 forum and the “UAE–Uzbekistan: Connecting Capital with Opportunities” business roundtable on October 7, the ministry said.

The discussions covered prospects for expanding cooperation across several priority sectors, including energy, digital infrastructure and artificial intelligence, the financial sector, chemicals, agriculture, tourism, transport and logistics, and real estate development.

During the visit, Kudratov held bilateral meetings with UAE Minister of Economy and Tourism Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Investment Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi and Minister of Foreign Trade Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi.

He also met with executives of major UAE companies to discuss opportunities for expanding business ties and implementing prospective investment projects.

The meetings resulted in an agreement on next steps to advance projects involving government institutions, investment funds and businesses from Uzbekistan and the UAE.
