The construction will be financed by the French Treasury, foreign and domestic direct investment. The total investment in the project is $269 million.

In the Chimgan mountain range, it is planned to build:

•  more than 20 entertainment routes;
•  rope path (gondola and chair type);
•  attractions (Zip-line, Alpine coaster, Adventure tower, summer/winter Tubing);
•  more than 11 recreational trails;
•  20 km of ski trails.

“The Chimgan tourist zone consists of 3 stations, the highest of which is at an altitude of 3,309 m, which will be the point of use of the rope path in Central Asia. The master plan and economic model of the complex were developed by a consortium of French companies.

The decision of the Cabinet of Ministers stipulates that the rights to land plots located in the resort area will be gradually realized through the electronic trading platform “E-ijro Auksion”. Investors implementing projects in the region will receive the status of participants of the Charvak free tourist zone,” the report reads.

Earlier, it was said that the total cost of the project will be $480 million. It was reported that its concept and economic model will be developed by a consortium of French companies at the expense of a grant from the FASEP Fund in the amount of €750 thousand.

It should be recalled that in 2018, a consortium of French companies Orex Loisirs, Compagnie des Alpes, Geode, Egis, Epode, Patriarch and the Tashkent regional administration signed an agreement on cooperation in the development of tourist areas in the Charvak reservoir.
