A technical school teacher detained in Samarkand while taking $700 in bribe
According to the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office, in the Alat district of Bukhara region M.K. earned the trust of citizen R. and promised to enroll him in the Bukhara Medical College with the help of acquaintances. For his “service”, he demanded $800 in bribe. The fraudster was arrested while accepting the money.

Similarly, in an operative event held in the Samarkand region, a teacher of Samarkand Railway Technical School K.A. promised to enroll citizen Sh. in this educational institution for $800. The wrongdoer was caught with material evidence when he received $700 of the agreed amount.
A criminal case under Articles 168 (fraud) and 28, 211 (bribery) of the Criminal Code has been initiated. An investigation is underway.
