Uzbekistan to launch a register of ancient written sources, organize expeditions to study manuscripts
By the relevant decree, the president instructed the Center for Islamic Civilization to form a state register of ancient written sources, which are stored in all museums, libraries and archival funds throughout the country.
The authorities also plan to organize scientific expeditions to foreign countries in order to find ancient manuscripts of the works of scientists and thinkers of Uzbekistan.
The government will also launch a scientific and educational portal about the life and spiritual heritage of scientists and thinkers of Uzbekistan and its mobile application.
