Coronavirus: Daily cases drop below 200

On February 18, 191 people tested positive for coronavirus in Uzbekistan.

The Ministry of Health reported that the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 235,063 (+191).

According to the ministry, 84 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 6 – in Andijan, 7 – in Bukhara, 6 – in Jizzakh, 2 – in Kashkadarya, 5 – in Navoi, 7 – in Namangan, 19 – in Samarkand, 7 – in Syrdarya, 8 – in Surkhandarya, 7 – in Fergana, 10 – in Khorezm and 23 – in Tashkent region.

3 COVID-19 patients died yesterday, bringing the official death toll to 1,617.

As of February 18, the number of recovered stands at 224,458 (+1,382).

Also, 42 people tested positive for pneumonia on Friday.
