138 COVID-19 cases confirmed on Feb 25

On February 25, 138 people tested positive for coronavirus in Uzbekistan.

The Ministry of Health reported that the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 236,174 (+138).

According to the ministry, 47 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 1 – in Karakalpakstan, 4 – in Andijan, 7 – in Bukhara, 2 – in Jizzakh, 2 – in Kashkadarya, 1 – in Navoi, 5 – in Namangan, 19 – in Samarkand, 5 – in Syrdarya, 8 – in Surkhandarya, 5 – in Fergana, 4 – in Khorezm and 28 – in Tashkent region.

2 COVID-19 patients died yesterday, bringing the official death toll to 1,630.

As of February 25, the number of recovered stands at 232,049 (+503).

Also, 21 people tested positive for pneumonia on Friday.
