UzAuto Motors prepares for mass production of Chevrolet Tracker-2

The company has already released a test batch that is not intended for sale.

The mass production of the Chevrolet Tracker-2 is being prepared, Spot reported with reference to UzAuto Motors. The company plans to launch a new generation of cars this summer.

At this stage, a test release has been made - 16 Non-saleable cars, which will be subjected to the most difficult road and climatic tests. This will help to work out all production processes and check them in real assembly conditions.

According to the project manager Tolibjon Samsakov, all stages of preparation for launching into production and testing are going according to plan, no serious shortcomings have been identified.

The car is equipped with LED daytime running lights, a color screen instrument panel, an 8-inch Chevrolet MyLink touch screen, a 6-speaker audio system, a multifunction steering wheel, air conditioning, keyless entry to start the engine, a panoramic sunroof, power and heated rear-view mirrors, front and rear power windows.

The Chevrolet Tracker-2 security suite includes frontal airbags, front-row side and curtain airbags, a rearview camera, a tire pressure monitoring system, an electronic stability program (ESP), an anti-lock braking system (ABS), an assistance system start uphill (HSA), rear parking sensors, as well as Isofix child seat mounts.

As it was reported earlier, the annual production of Tracker will be at least 80 thousand cars. The level of localization will reach 50% and will be increased further.

In Uzbekistan, the second-generation Tracker went on sale in December 2020 - the first batch of 209 vehicles was sent here (Spot published specifications and prices). Sales started in January 2021 - the first batch was sold out in one day.
