Citizens in Uzbekistan banned from posting photos and videos with traffic police officers on Internet
Appropriate changes and additions have been made to the regulation on the procedure for regulating the relationship of traffic police officers with road users.
This is stated in the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers dated April 12 this year.
In particular, an addition was made to Article 19 of the provisions on the procedure for regulating the relationship of traffic police officers with road users and the use of special means.
Now road users, within the framework of their relationship with traffic police officers, cannot post photos and videos with traffic police officers on the Internet in the performance of their duties.
It should be recalled that earlier the Ministry of Internal Affairs proposed to ban posting on the Internet of photos and videos with traffic police officers in the performance of their duties. However, many Uzbeks and experts reacted negatively to such an initiative.
