Iran remains major supplier of dates to Uzbekistan
In January-March 2022, Uzbekistan imported 3.5 thousand tons of dates from nine countries for $2.4 million.

The volume of imports of dates increased by 822 tons compared to the corresponding period of last year, the State Statistics Committee said.
Major suppliers of dates to the market of Uzbekistan:
- Iran - 3.3 thousand tons;
- Turkey - 81 tons;
- Tunisia - 54 tons;
- Palestine - 35 tons;
- Israel - 27.5 tons;
- UAE - 22 tons;
- Kazakhstan - 22 tons;
- Saudi Arabia - 20.5 tons.
