Uzbekistan head into the November fixtures after playing three friendlies in September and October. The team began that run with a 3–1 victory over Iran on September 24, followed by a 4–1 win against Syria on October 1.

Their most recent outing, however, ended in defeat. Uzbekistan lost 2–0 away to South Korea on October 6, bringing their run of September and October friendlies to two wins and one loss.
