President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will pay an official visit to Uzbekistan on June 21-22.
On the eve of Ilham Aliyev's visit to Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage and the State Tourism Agency of Azerbaijan organized an info tour for a group of Uzbek journalists to get acquainted with the country's tourism potential, culture, historical and cultural sites, customs and traditions.
During his visit to the State Committee on Work with Diasporas, Deputy Chairman of the Committee Faik Guliyev told reporters about the visit of the President of Azerbaijan to Uzbekistan.
According to him, during Aliyev's visit to Uzbekistan, it is planned to discuss issues of further expansion of effective cooperation between the two countries.
It should be recalled that on May 16, 2022, Ilham Aliyev hosted a delegation from Uzbekistan, during which the Chairman of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis, Nurdinjon Ismailov, said that President Shavkat Mirziyoyev was expecting his visit to Uzbekistan.
