Deputy director of ambulance detained in Samarkand for accepting $1,400 in bribe
SSS arrested a deputy head who promised to hire a citizen as a nurse in a maternity hospital for a bribe.
During an event operative event organized by the PGO Department and the Samarkand Regional SSS Department, deputy director for New Technologies of the Samarkand branch of the Republican Scientific Center of Emergency Medicine T.M. was caught with material evidence when he received $1,400 in bribe for hiring citizen Kh. as a nurse at Maternity Hospital No. 4 in Samarkand with the help of his acquaintances.
This was reported by the Information Service of the PGO Department for Combating Economic Crimes.
On this fact, a criminal case has been initiated under Articles 168 (fraud) and 28, 211 (bribery) of the Criminal Code. An investigation is underway.
