Over 240 people injured in Nukus protests
During the riots in Nukus, 243 people were injured, a representative of the Prosecutor General’s Office said at a briefing on July 4.

According to the official, there were 38 law enforcement officers among those injured.
Reportedly, police detained 516 people. Many of them have already been released.
18 people died during the protests, the official added.
