Norov and Lavrov discuss strengthening strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Russia
On July 12, Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov held a meeting in Moscow with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the issues of strengthening the Uzbek-Russian relations of strategic partnership.
The sides voiced commitment to the further intensification of mutually beneficial political dialogue, trade and economic cooperation and cultural-humanitarian exchange.
The ministers also exchanged views on topical issues of global and regional politics. An agreement was reached to continue cooperation within the framework of the UN, the CIS, the SCO and other international institutions.
The organizational aspects of the upcoming events were reviewed, including the meeting of the SCO Council of Foreign Ministers to be held in Tashkent on July 28-29, 2022.
