EV imports up by 4.5 times
The State Statistics Committee has provided data on electric vehicle imports to Uzbekistan.

According to the committee, in January-June 2022, Uzbekistan imported 1,125 electric vehicles from 10 countries for $34.1 million.
It is noted that the import of electric vehicles increased by 875 or 4.5 times compared to the corresponding period in 2021.
During the reporting period, Uzbekistan imported electric vehicles mainly from the following countries:
- China - 983;
- UAE - 73;
- Germany - 27;
- Hong Kong - 25;
- South Korea - 6;
- Lithuania - 6;
- Estonia - 2.
