PGO clarifies the situation with report of large-scale theft in Transgaz JSC

Prosecutor General’s Office in its Telegram channel informs that a copy of the resolution of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes on a criminal case against officials of the Uztransgaz JSC was circulated on social networks.

“The Prosecutor General’s Office studied the said case in the order of control. At the same time, it was established that the decision to initiate a criminal case was adopted prematurely, without carrying out full-fledged pre-investigation measures.

In connection with the above, the decision to initiate a criminal case on May 16 was canceled, and it was sent for a pre-investigation check,” the report reads.
