EV imports up by three times
In January-July 2022, Uzbekistan imported 1,314 electric vehicles from 10 countries for $40.1 million.

According to the State Statistics Committee, the import of electric cars increased by 901 or 3.2 times compared to the corresponding period of 2021.
In the seven months of the year, Uzbekistan imported EVs mainly from the following countries:
- China – 1,155
- UAE - 81
- Germany - 29
- Hong Kong - 29
- South Korea - 7
- Lithuania - 7
- Estonia - 2
