Uzbekistan introducing visa-free regime for citizens of Saudi Arabia
From January 1, 2023, Uzbekistan will introduce a visa-free regime for citizens of Saudi Arabia for a period of 30 days. Upon arrival, they should present a departure ticket to their country or a third country within the specified time space.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a relevant decree on August 16.
The decision was made in order to improve the cultural, scientific and investment environment, as well as to create more favorable conditions for the development of international relations between Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia, to have a positive effect on the country’s economic development and tourism potential.
Currently, Saudi Arabia is included in the list of countries whose citizens can get a visa to Uzbekistan in a simplified manner.
In addition, they have the right to enter Uzbekistan in transit without a visa, stay temporarily and leave Uzbekistan.
