According to the press service of the Tashkent city khokimiyat, OOO Truck and Bus Trade Group will supply 190 high-capacity low-floor MAN A22 CNG buses by the end of the year.
“Buses of this model are well known to Tashkent residents: they are designed for 30 seated and 60 standing passengers, equipped with air conditioning and run on CNG, which is important for maintaining clean air. The purchased buses will be added to those already operating, now it is being decided which routes they will be assigned. Perhaps, in some directions, new MAN buses will replace the low-capacity ISUZU,” Muslima Obidova, press secretary of Toshshakhartranskhizmat JSC, said.
By the end of the year, another 85 SAZ LE-60 medium-capacity buses with 25 seats and 31 standing places will be on the routes. They will join 115 buses of this model purchased this year.
The fleet of 20 large-capacity Yutong electric buses is not expected to replenish this year; new electric buses will arrive next year.
