Criminal group detained in Samarkand for processing gold ore illegally
Furnaces, mills and more than 3 tons of ore containing pure gold were found in the houses of the detainees.

Employees of the State Security Service, together with representatives of law enforcement agencies, stopped illegal processing of gold ore in the Samarkand region, the press service of the Samarkand regional DIA reported.
It turned out that three residents of the Pakhtachi district were engaged in ore processing.
In their homes, investigators found 3.1 tons of gold ore, 2 furnaces and 3 mills.
Currently, the detainees are being interrogated.
