Uzbekistan imported $12.1 million worth of footwear over nine months
In January-September 2022, Uzbekistan imported 2.7 million pairs of footwear from 38 countries for $12.1 million.
The volume of footwear imports decreased by 32,500 pairs compared to the corresponding period of 2021, the State Statistics Committee said.
Major suppliers of footwear to Uzbekistan during the reporting period:
- China - 1.6 million pairs
- Turkey - 877.6 thousand pairs
- Vietnam - 35.1 thousand pairs
- Russia - 31.9 thousand pairs
- Indonesia - 14.6 thousand pairs
- Italy - 10.3 thousand pairs
- Czech Republic - 7.5 thousand pairs
- India - 5.4 thousand pairs
- Spain - 2.7 thousand couples
- Portugal - 2.7 thousand pairs
- Germany - 1.1 thousand pairs
