Uzbekistan, Hungary discuss strengthening cooperation in chemical industry, pharmaceuticals and financial sector
On November 10, on the sidelines of the OTS summit in Samarkand, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held talks with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.
At the meeting, the parties focused on expanding practical cooperation and strengthening bilateral strategic partnership in accordance with the agreements reached at the highest level.
“We noted with satisfaction the fruitful results of active business contacts, including within the framework of the joint business forum held these days with the participation of leading companies and enterprises of the two countries,” the briefing, organized following the event, said.
Particular attention was paid to the promotion of joint investment cooperation projects in the field of the chemical industry, pharmaceuticals, the banking and financial sector, transport and logistics, and other priority areas.
In addition, an agreement was reached on accelerating the creation of mechanisms for financial support of business initiatives. The importance of continuing active humanitarian exchange programs, primarily in the field of education, culture and cinematography, was emphasized.
